1) the lockdown; when the initial 1 week school cancellation turned into an indefinite period of self isolation

2) one thing i can think about are cryptocurrencies, think bitcoin. the entire market crashed during the pandemic, especially smaller, newer currencies. people that invested in them lost loads of money.

3) Wars, pandemics, natural disasters

4) When days went by and the war was still going on; at this point is seems like it won't end soon. Check information from multiple sources; trust international press more than my own country's. Only trust major news outlets like BBC or CNN.

5) Being scared at first, given the proximity of the war. ( as you live in Romania, Ukraine's neighbour). Refugees coming to your city; seeing donation boxes throughout the city and even your own school.
